 The Continental Quality Attack Team is ready and waiting to handle your Containment Situation
Continental has Quality Attack Teams ready for deployment to handle all types of Containment issues.
The process begins with a Kick-off Meeting with a Continental Attack Team Field Commander, your key Quality staff and your customer, if required. During the meeting, we obtain a comprehensive assessment of the issues involved so that a full understanding of the non-conformance is achieved. Boundary Samples are developed and sort criteria are fully established. A jointly developed Battle Plan of Attack (Crisis Action Plan) is created, designed get the immediate situation under control as soon as possible.
xWe then get an understanding of your production system and shipping schedules. The key Technical Skills Sets are identified for each of the Attack Team Members, correlated to the Battle Plan. The Continental Attack Team is then task organized, briefed on their Mission Orders and rapidly deployed to your site (or to your customer's site) with the appropriate “battle” gear including uniforms, safety equipment and any specialized gages, testing or measuring devices. Continental can also provide a trained forklift operator if required for the Mission.
The Attack Team starts immediately on suspect parts to satisfy your shipping schedule, then concentrates on newly produced parts after corrective actions have been taken. The faster we can get clean sorts, the faster you are out of containment.
After the Attack Team has successfully sorted the initial wave of non-conforming parts, and shipments are resumed, a tactical plan is developed with your staff to gain full control of the situation. This plan may include deployment of one of Continental's Quality Engineering Specialists to locate the root cause of the problem or may include a longer-term Garrison Force at your facility to insure that even deeply embedded Quality issues are completely resolved. Our mission is not accomplished until you have achieved a consistent level of 100% Quality shipments, and completely restored customer satisfaction.
Quality Attack Team Members
Led by an experienced Attack Team Field Commander, our Quality Attack Team is trained and qualified to inspect your parts. Only team members with high training aptitudes that pass a rigorous battery of tests and a drug screening get hired as Continental Inspectors. Once on the team, they are trained in General Quality Procedures, which enables them to rapidly learn the specifics of non-conforming and conforming parts upon deployment to your location. The teams inspect only to your Quality specifications of your Quality personnel. We know that our team is there only to get you back in control of the situation as soon as possible.
