Customer Quality Liaison

Contact Continental's Quality Attack Team Quality problems that surface at your customer's site can require a personal visit by one of your engineers, which is both time consuming and expensive. Continental solves this problem for our customers by providing Customer Quality Liaison Engineers who reside near your customer's site.

These Engineers make regular visits to your customer and are on-call when any problem surfaces. You only pay for the services you use and travel is not required, thus saving you time and money.

Your Customer Quality Liaison (CQL) will receive and investigate customer quality complaints to determine the cause and possible means of correction. He or she then coordinates the product quality activities at the producing plant and the customer's plant. He is able to instantly make the technical decisions required by your customer within the limits of your general quality policies and practices.

Your CQL will perform the following on your behalf:

  • Make regular visits to your customers in his or her area and may also be used to assist with your suppliers' product quality performance. The CQL is responsible for resolving customer quality complaints and acts as a liaison with your own plant quality control and manufacturing operations to resolve quality problems.
  • Analyze problems and make recommendations as to root cause and irreversible corrective actions.
  • Familiarize customers and/or supplier quality control and inspection personnel with gauging and inspection techniques and product specifications.
  • Organize and supervise on-site inspection and sorting operations at customer plants.
